Descripiton

Open WebUI is an open-source, scalable, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted WebUI developed by Open WebUI. The version before 0.5.17 of Open WebUI has a code issue vulnerability. This vulnerability arises because the audio API endpoint /audio/api/v1/transcriptions allows arbitrary file uploads. Due to insufficient validation of file.content_type, it may lead to path traversal and remote code execution. This rule supports to defend the A6: Vulnerable and Outdated Components of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
