Descripiton

The Security of Uploading files usually base on checking their extensions. But sometimes, attackers inject a %00 after filename, which would truncate the checking on it. In xxx.php[\0].JPG, .JPG satifies the judgement on the kind of this file. But for web servers, it turns to be xxx.php finally, because of the truncation of 0x00 byte. This rule supports to defend the A6: Vulnerable and Outdated Components of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
