Descripiton

Advantech iView is a software based on Simple Network Protocol (SNMP) to manage B+B SmartWorx devices from Advantech Company of China. A command injection vulnerability exists in versions prior to Advantech iView 5_7_04_64692, which originates from the improper neutralization of a special element used in the command, allowing an attacker to remotely execute arbitrary code. This rule supports to defend the A6: Vulnerable and Outdated Components of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
