WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. WordPress is installed on a Web server that is either a part of an Internet hosting service or a network host in its own right. In the wp-google-maps plugin before 7.11.18 for WordPress, includes/class.rest-api.php in the REST API does not sanitize field names before a SELECT statement. This rule supports to defend the A6: Vulnerable and Outdated Components, A2: Cryptgraphic Failures and A3: Injection of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
