WordPress is a free and open-source content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. WordPress is installed on a Web server that is either a part of an Internet hosting service or a network host in its own right. Unorestricted file upload vulnerability in admin/upload-file.php in the Holding Pattern theme(aka holding_pattern)0.6 and earlier for WordPress allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a file with a PHP extension, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in an unspecified directory. This rule supports to defend the A6: Vulnerable and Outdated Components of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
