Descripiton

The .htaccess file is a configuration file for the Apache server that stores the configuration of Web pages under the relevant directory, implements Web pages redirection, customizes error pages, and allows/blocks access to specific users or directories. Attackers can inlude .htaccess file in http request and get the information, achieving local file inclusion attacks, resulting in information leak. This rule requires checking .htaccess string in http request to prevent such attacks. This rule supports to defend the A3: Injection of OWASP Top 10 - 2021.
