Description: A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been reported in Exim. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of a long EHLO command. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a malicious EHLO command to the target server. Successful exploitation could result in the execution of arbitrary code or a denial of service condition on the target server.
Impact: A buffer overflow vulnerability can be triggered by an attacker in the context of the vulnerable product. Further attacks includes arbitrary code execution and denial of service.
