Description: Apereo CAS is a centralized authentication service platform released by Apereo and is commonly used in enterprise single sign-on systems. Versions prior to 4.1.7 contain a default key issue, allowing an attacker to craft malicious data using this default key to trigger a deserialization vulnerability on the target system, ultimately leading to arbitrary command execution.
Impact: An attacker can carefully construct malicious serialized data and pass it to the application, and execute the malicious code constructed by the attacker when the application deserializes the object.
